MojeID, the Czech national digital identity service operated by CZ.NIC, has officially added Token2 PIN+ security keys to its list of devices accepted for the high assurance (úroveň záruky vysoká) level.

MojeID allows Czech citizens and residents to access government portals, EU e-services, and other sensitive applications with strong digital authentication. The high assurance level is the highest security tier, required for services such as managing government bonds or issuing qualified certificates.

With this update, Token2 PIN+ joins other certified hardware security keys as a valid option for meeting MojeID’s strict requirements, which include FIDO certification (L2 or higher), and CC EAL6+ certification (already held by the chips we use), firmware updates, and PIN protection.

This enhancement further expands the list of government services that support Token2 keys: the PIN+ series is already supported by ID Austria, and all Token2 keys are accepted by AGOV Switzerland.
